Krang’s mobile fortress brings movement to a TMNT collection: VeVe’s Technodrome fires five laser cannons, animates its mechanical eye and drives through your surroundings in AR. This Common First Edition has a 30-Gem list price. For fans of TMNT NFTs, the appeal is a villain headquarters with machinery to play with and room for a whole Turtle scene around it.
What can the Technodrome actually do?
VeVe’s official feature article describes three distinct parts of the experience:
- Fire the cannons: tap the main front cannon for the largest blast. Two upper cannons and two side cannons also fire, with visual and sound effects. The side weapons move along tracks with animated gears.
- Watch the eye: the mechanical eye blinks and looks around during the idle animation, so the fortress has movement even when parked.
- Drive in AR: move the fortress through your surroundings in augmented reality. The machinery beneath it rotates as it travels.

It reported 2,937 editions in circulation, 50 withheld and zero burned. Those categories should not be confused with the number currently for sale.

Release-date note: VeVe’s feature article names September 12, 2026; the product listing checked on September 16 shows September 13.
From cartoon headquarters to a collector’s display
In the 1987 animated series, the Technodrome is Krang, Shredder and the Foot Clan’s mobile headquarters. Its giant eye and tracked spherical shell make it recognizable even without a Turtle beside it. In a collection, that gives the villains a setting of their own: place it opposite the brothers and the display becomes a scene.
The physical Technodrome connection
Playmates’ Technodrome playset translates the same cartoon base into a two-level toy with traps, a command center and a rotating throne for Krang. It is a useful comparison for collectors who remember building adventures around a physical playset: the base supplies the action as well as the backdrop.
VeVe emphasizes a different set of interactions, with animated weapons and AR driving. The two products share the Technodrome subject; the available sources do not establish that VeVe recreated the Playmates sculpt. For a digital display, compare the Dojo Discipline quartet and choose the poses you would enjoy arranging around the fortress.
