1) What Is the MCP—and Why Does It Matter?
The Master Collector Program (MCP) gamifies collecting on VeVe: You earn points, progress through levels, and compete with other collectors through ranks. Important: Your point total/level and rank are independent of the points you spend. Spending points does not retroactively affect your level or rank. VeVe may periodically adjust the rank distribution and percentile thresholds so the system remains relative to the active community.
Levels (0–100) increase based on points earned, while ranks (22 tiers, such as Starter → … → Master Collector) depend on your daily point activity relative to other collectors.
2) How to Earn MCP Points

a) One-Time Bonus Points
- Onboarding: +100
- Complete a set: +100
- Store purchase: +25
- Market purchase: +15
b) Daily Points for Collectibles
- Base: 1.0 point per collectible/day
- Duplicates (diminishing): 2nd collectible = 0.75 points; 3rd collectible = 0.35; 4th+ collectible = 0.10
- Rarity bonus (additional/day): Rare +0.25 | Ultra Rare +0.50 | Secret Rare +5.0
- Low-edition bonus: +0.5 for the lowest 5% of public mint numbers, excluding editions reserved by VeVe.
- Set bonus (per set/day): Set with 1 collectible +1.0 point | Set with 2 collectibles +2.0 points | Set with 3 collectibles +3.0 points | Set with 4 collectibles +4.0 points | Set with ≥ 5 collectibles +5.0 points
- Duplicate sets (diminishing): 2nd set = 30% | 3rd set = 20% | 4th+ set = 10%
c) Daily Points for Comics
- Cover rarity/day: Common 0.25 | Uncommon 0.5 | Rare 2.0 | Ultra Rare 3.0 | Secret Rare 6.0
- Duplicates (diminishing; Common/Uncommon excluded): 2nd comic = 50% | 3rd comic = 25% | 4th+ comic = 10%
- Low-edition bonus: +50% for the lowest 5% of mint numbers
- Comic “sets”: Similarly, 1–5 comics → +1.0 to +5.0, with diminishing points for duplicates
d) Daily Activity Points
- +1 per in-app action, such as opening the app, liking, commenting, purchasing, or creating a listing, up to a maximum of 25/day.
e) OMI Reward Bonus
- OMI Unlimited: up to 1,500 MCP points daily, with the full bonus at 10 million OMI staked and a proportional bonus for smaller qualifying stakes. The minimum stake is 1 million OMI on Base.

Important: Daily points stop after seven days of inactivity if you do not open the app. Points are credited once every 24 hours.
3) Levels vs. Ranks—How They Work Together
- Levels (0–100): Increase solely through points, including one-time points, daily points, the OMI bonus, and activity. Higher levels are intended to unlock features/perks. You can view your points in your Profile on the web and in the app.
- Ranks (22 tiers): Depend on your Daily Asset Points relative to the community through percentile thresholds. VeVe adjusts these thresholds periodically. Spending points does not affect your rank or level.
In practice: Your total points determine level-ups, while climbing the ranks depends on the consistency of your daily points from holdings, sets, comics, activity, and the OMI bonus.
4) OMI Unlimited and existing Bronze Tickets
ECOMI has announced the move to a staking bonus for October 1, 2026. Holding OMI on StackR continues earning the previous bonus until October 4 during the transition. The new bonus then requires a qualifying stake. See the OMI Unlimited guide.
- New stakes: at least 1 million real OMI on Base, locked for 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. The MCP bonus is separate from seasonal staking XP.
- Existing Bronze Tickets: older OMI Rewards documentation describes a separate MCP redemption with diminishing points per ticket and a 24-hour cooldown. Use the redemption dialog offered by VeVe to check whether and how existing tickets can currently be redeemed. The new launch announcement does not promise further Bronze Tickets.
- The previous holding model for up to 10 million OMI is not the same as the new staking requirement. Check the network, minimum stake and lock commitment.
Check which program you are using. An existing OMI balance is not yet an active stake. Include the chosen lock period and published exit conditions in your decision.
5) Priority Bidding—How to Secure Drop Reservations
What it is: When a Drop opens, you join the Waitlist and can bid MCP points to improve your chance of receiving a reservation. You can increase or withdraw your bid while the Waitlist remains open.
Most importantly:
- If you do not receive a reservation, no points are deducted, and you automatically remain in the standard draw.
- If your bid is successful, the default limit is one purchase per reservation. Auto-Pay can help you complete payment faster. You may then be able to purchase additional editions if inventory remains.
- If you do not purchase a successful reservation, the MCP points you bid are not refunded under VeVe’s Priority Bidding rules.
Reality check: Successful bids vary significantly by Drop. Rather than relying on a fixed amount, plan your points budget with a reserve for important Drops, potential bid increases, and future MCP uses.
6) Crafting, Upgrades & Gating: When MCP Becomes Your Ticket
Some crafting events require MCP points, a minimum rank and a minimum level. A historical example is Marvel Mightys – Captain America (January 2025): VeVe’s series page specifies 500 MCP points per craft, at least level 10 and a Silver rank. The matching On Guard collectible and points were consumed. That past event is not a current crafting offer.
Takeaway: A high rank/level plus available MCP points can provide access to exclusive upgrades—a clear incentive not just to collect, but to structure your collection strategically.
7) Strategies to Maximize Your MCP Returns
Beginners (Levels 0–20)
- Consistency > size: Open the app daily to avoid the seven-day pause, and use activity such as likes and comments to earn up to 25 points/day.
- Target sets: Small two- or three-piece sets provide solid set bonuses.
- Use comic rarity to your advantage: Uncommon and Rare covers also add points; over time, work toward Ultra Rare/Secret Rare covers for 3.0/6.0 points per day.
Intermediate Collectors (Levels 20–60)
- Low-mint edge: The low-edition bonus can make a difference on sought-after pieces.
- Use duplicates sparingly: Duplicate collectibles and comics earn significantly fewer points, so diversify your sets and covers.
- OMI Unlimited: check whether the minimum stake and lock period fit your use before planning around additional MCP points.
Power Users (Levels 60–100 / High Ranks)
- Existing tickets: check the current redemption dialog. Older ticket examples do not establish new OMI Unlimited rewards.
- Priority Bidding budget: Review Drop history and official blog posts, focus committed points on blue-chip Drops, and keep a reserve available to withdraw or increase your bid before the Waitlist closes.
- Crafting readiness: Meet rank/level gating requirements and maintain enough available points for limited crafting events.
8) Step by Step: Priority Bidding in 60 Seconds
- In the Drop article, check the time and join the Waitlist early enough. All relevant information appears in the official Drop posts.
- Choose your bid: Bid MCP points and increase or withdraw the bid if needed—until the Waitlist closes.
- Check the result:
- Reservation received → Complete one purchase; Auto-Pay can help. You may then be able to purchase more if inventory remains.
- No reservation → No points are deducted, and you continue to participate in the standard draw.
