TL;DR
- MCP is VeVe’s loyalty program, featuring points, levels (0–100), and 22 ranks ranging from Starter to Master Collector. You can earn points through purchases, holding collectibles and comics, completing sets, daily activity, and OMI Rewards, among other things.
- Priority Bidding: You can bid MCP points on Drop Waitlists to improve your chances of receiving a reservation. Unsuccessful bids do not cost any points, and you remain in the standard draw.
- OMI Rewards & Bronze Tickets: Collectors who hold OMI through the appropriate VeVe/StackR setup may receive daily bonus MCP points and seasonal Bronze Tickets, which can be converted into additional points using a decay model.
- How points work (selected examples): 1.0 point per collectible, rarity and low-mint bonuses, set bonuses, comic rarity points of up to 6.0 for a Secret Rare, and up to 25 daily activity points. Duplicate holdings earn progressively fewer points. Daily point accrual pauses after seven days of inactivity.
1) What Is the MCP—and Why Does It Matter?
The Master Collector Program (MCP) gamifies collecting on VeVe: You earn points, progress through levels, and compete with other collectors through ranks. Phase 1—Priority Bidding is live and lets you use points on Drop Waitlists. For a deeper breakdown, see our separate guide to MCP Priority Bidding and common mistakes when spending points.
Important: Your point total/level and rank are independent of the points you spend. Spending points does not retroactively affect your level or rank. VeVe may periodically adjust the rank distribution and percentile thresholds so the system remains relative to the active community.
Levels (0–100) increase based on points earned, while ranks (22 tiers, such as Starter → … → Master Collector) depend on your daily point activity relative to other collectors.
2) How to Earn MCP Points
VeVe has documented the points system. Here are its key components in simplified form. If you only need the fundamentals without the detailed strategy, our introductory guide to MCP Basics: Daily Points, Sets, and Earning Points complements this guide.
a) One-Time Bonus Points
- Onboarding: +100
- Complete a set: +100
- Store purchase: +25
- Market purchase: +15
b) Daily Points for Collectibles
- Base: 1.0 point per collectible/day
- Duplicates (diminishing): 2nd collectible = 0.75 points; 3rd collectible = 0.35; 4th+ collectible = 0.10
- Rarity bonus (additional/day): Rare +0.25 | Ultra Rare +0.50 | Secret Rare +5.0
- Low-edition bonus: +0.5 for the lowest 5% of public mint numbers, excluding editions reserved by VeVe.
- Set bonus (per set/day): Set with 1 collectible +1.0 point | Set with 2 collectibles +2.0 points | Set with 3 collectibles +3.0 points | Set with 4 collectibles +4.0 points | Set with ≥ 5 collectibles +5.0 points
- Duplicate sets (diminishing): 2nd set = 30% | 3rd set = 20% | 4th+ set = 10%
c) Daily Points for Comics
- Cover rarity/day: Common 0.25 | Uncommon 0.5 | Rare 2.0 | Ultra Rare 3.0 | Secret Rare 6.0
- Duplicates (diminishing; Common/Uncommon excluded): 2nd comic = 50% | 3rd comic = 25% | 4th+ comic = 10%
- Low-edition bonus: +50% for the lowest 5% of mint numbers
- Comic “sets”: Similarly, 1–5 comics → +1.0 to +5.0, with diminishing points for duplicates
d) Daily Activity Points
- +1 per in-app action, such as opening the app, liking, commenting, purchasing, or creating a listing, up to a maximum of 25/day.
e) OMI Reward Bonus
- Hold OMI through the currently supported VeVe/StackR wallet setup → receive daily bonus points, subject to a cap of 10 million OMI per wallet and distribution from a reward pool.
- See Section 4 for details on seasons, Bronze Tickets, and redemptions.
Important: Daily points stop after seven days of inactivity if you do not open the app. Points are credited once every 24 hours.
3) Levels vs. Ranks—How They Work Together
- Levels (0–100): Increase solely through points, including one-time points, daily points, the OMI bonus, and activity. Higher levels are intended to unlock features/perks. You can view your points in your Profile on the web and in the app.
- Ranks (22 tiers): Depend on your Daily Asset Points relative to the community through percentile thresholds. VeVe adjusts these thresholds periodically. Spending points does not affect your rank or level.
In practice: Your total points determine level-ups, while climbing the ranks depends on the consistency of your daily points from holdings, sets, comics, activity, and the OMI bonus.
4) OMI Rewards & Bronze Tickets—A Boost for Your MCP
Through OMI Rewards, VeVe rewards collectors for holding OMI tokens in the currently supported wallet setup. In practice, the StackR/Base environment is particularly relevant.
- You receive daily bonus MCP points, which count toward your level and, on the applicable day, your rank.
- You may also receive Bronze Tickets as seasonal rewards. They do not expire and can be converted into MCP points using a decay model. For example, one ticket may equal approximately 15 points at the start of a redemption; redeeming multiple tickets in one transaction reduces the average, with a minimum of 2 points per ticket and a 24-hour cooldown between redemptions.
- Rewards account for a maximum of 10M OMI per wallet. Before making any transfers, always check the latest official wallet, network, and StackR information.
Bottom line: OMI Rewards provide a predictable way to earn steady daily points plus flexible bonus points through tickets—useful for strengthening Priority Bids or reaching level milestones faster. For setup and security questions, see the StackR guide for VeVe and OMI.
5) Priority Bidding—How to Secure Drop Reservations
What it is: When a Drop opens, you join the Waitlist and can bid MCP points to improve your chance of receiving a reservation. You can increase or withdraw your bid while the Waitlist remains open.
Most importantly:
- If you do not receive a reservation, no points are deducted, and you automatically remain in the standard draw.
- If your bid is successful, the default limit is one purchase per reservation. Auto-Pay can help you complete payment faster. You may then be able to purchase additional editions if inventory remains.
- If you do not purchase a successful reservation, the MCP points you bid are not refunded under VeVe’s Priority Bidding rules.
Reality check: Successful bids vary significantly by Drop. Rather than relying on a fixed amount, plan your points budget with a reserve for important Drops, potential bid increases, and future MCP uses.
6) Crafting, Upgrades & Gating: When MCP Becomes Your Ticket
VeVe is increasingly using the MCP for gating: Some crafting/upgrade events require MCP points that are burned, a minimum rank, and a minimum level. One example is Marvel Mightys—Captain America (Jan 2025): 500 MCP points per craft, MCP rank of at least Silver IV, and level ≥ 10. The points and the asset being burned are consumed during crafting.
Takeaway: A high rank/level plus available MCP points can provide access to exclusive upgrades—a clear incentive not just to collect, but to structure your collection strategically.
7) Strategies to Maximize Your MCP Returns
Beginners (Levels 0–20)
- Consistency > size: Open the app daily to avoid the seven-day pause, and use activity such as likes and comments to earn up to 25 points/day.
- Target sets: Small two- or three-piece sets provide solid set bonuses.
- Use comic rarity to your advantage: Uncommon and Rare covers also add points; over time, work toward Ultra Rare/Secret Rare covers for 3.0/6.0 points per day.
Intermediate Collectors (Levels 20–60)
- Low-mint edge: The low-edition bonus can make a difference on sought-after pieces.
- Use duplicates sparingly: Duplicate collectibles and comics earn significantly fewer points, so diversify your sets and covers.
- OMI Rewards: Consider whether a wallet allocation makes sense for you based on daily points and Bronze Tickets.
Power Users (Levels 60–100 / High Ranks)
- Ticket strategy: Redeem Bronze Tickets in stages, accounting for decay and the 24-hour cooldown, to time Priority Bids or level pushes around important Drops.
- Priority Bidding budget: Review Drop history and official blog posts, focus committed points on blue-chip Drops, and keep a reserve available to withdraw or increase your bid before the Waitlist closes.
- Crafting readiness: Meet rank/level gating requirements and maintain enough available points for limited crafting events.
8) Step by Step: Priority Bidding in 60 Seconds
- In the Drop article, check the time and join the Waitlist early enough. All relevant information appears in the official Drop posts.
- Choose your bid: Bid MCP points and increase or withdraw the bid if needed—until the Waitlist closes.
- Check the result:
- Reservation received → Complete one purchase; Auto-Pay can help. You may then be able to purchase more if inventory remains.
- No reservation → No points are deducted, and you continue to participate in the standard draw.

12) Final Thoughts
The MCP is more than a points system: It is the central hub for Drop advantages through Priority Bidding, gating for crafting and upgrades, and growing utility through OMI Rewards. Collectors who consistently optimize their daily points, use OMI thoughtfully, and bid strategically can progress through the levels, become more visible in the ranks, and improve their chances on highly sought-after Drops. The rules are transparent enough to support planning, but you should still check the latest official information before every Drop and wallet action.
